Butterflies Creche Friendly and professional Montessori & Creche with private grounds on a listed property in North County Dublin. Nominated for Maternity & Infant Award 2014

Butterflies Creche & Montessori is a private enterprise owned and operated by Cathy Crinigan. It is on the grounds of the listed 'Lusk House' which once housed the army officers of Remount Farm, training combat horses for WW1. The creche operates out of 'The Coach House' which was restored in 1995 and modified as a school in 2009. The doors opened in 2010 with only 2 children in attendance. Since

then we have grown to a staff of 8 with many more little butterflies in our care. We have fowl on the grounds which we often visit to enhance our nature modules, so keep an eye out for chickens on the run!

Thanks so much for everything you have done for Maeve over the past two years. It has been fantastic to watch her progress during that time and so much of that was due to you and the great work you did with her in Butterflies.

Our three Montessori Classes held their Carol Singing this morning with Parents, Grandparents Aunts Uncles Brothers and Sisters all attending. They were brilliant and sang their hearts out. Well done to the Montessori teachers Charmaine Savage and Mairead Walsh for their hard work and dedication.. We have decided to hire out a local hall for their Graduation next June to allow everyone to sit and watch in comfort.. The girls tell me the preparation for that starts in January...Should be fun... Happy Christmas and a Peaceful New Year to All... Cathy.x
