Consultations;
During a consultation optimum carrying positions are discussed, outlining research that has been carried out on hip positioning and the development of babies psychologically and socially. Moving on from this, we will discuss what you need from asling or carrier and identify the type of carrier that will suit your needs best. (There are 5 main types of carriers- stretchy wrap, woven
wrap, ring sling, mei tai and soft structured carriers)
Once we identify the most suitable, you will be brought through how to use and adjust the carrier comprehensively. On leaving you will have gained a deeper understanding of safe babywearing and be confident in the use of the carrier most suited to you and your families needs. A consultation usually lasts 1.5 hrs costing €30
Consultations can take place in your home or you can come to me. Does your toddler want to be carried for periods while out for a walk? Would you like to develop a closer bond with your child? Are you finding a pushchair restrictive when you are out and about? Maybe you're expecting another baby and don't want to buy a double buggy? Are you expecting a baby? do you want to learn more about babywearing or kangaroo care before you have your baby? You will be interested in our specially design consultation package. Before baby arrives, you come for a consultation similar to what is outlined above. This lasts normally 1.5hrs. After babies arrival there will be a follow up consultation, this will recap many points from the previous consultation and look at any problems you are having or any adjustments that may need to be made. This package gives new parents full confidence in their Babywearing technique and reinforces the safety points learned in the first consultation. The second consultation should last one hour

Do you currently own a ringsling/mei tai/ soft structured carrier/woven wrap/ stretchy wrap and want to improve how you use it so that it is more comfortable for you and your child? Do you own a sling and are unsure of how to use it? Do you want to learn how to use your carrier in a specific back/front/hip carry? If you answered yes to one of these than a troubleshooting clinic session is for you! These are available 1:1 and in small groups
Troubleshooting clinic sessions will last 30-60mins. Costing from €10-20. Rental:
