CAO Round 1 Offers 2026

Details from CAO on how offers will be issued tomorrow, August 26th.

📌 Applicants awaiting a Round One offer may receive notification of their offer before 2pm on 26 August.
📌 CAO will begin emailing successful applicants in batches, with the first batch of emails issuing just after noon on 26 August.
📌 Level 8 and Level 7/6 offers will issue in the one email for Round One (previously, these offers issued in separate emails).
📌 Unsuccessful applicants will receive a Statement of Application email asking them to check their account information to ensure that there are no errors or omissions that may have resulted in them missing out on an offer.

Speaking about the offer process, Head of Communications for CAO, Eileen Keleghan, commented; “Due to the volume of emails being issued, CAO will issue emails in stages, beginning at 12pm.
➡️ “Applicants should not panic if they don't receive an email, as they will be able to check if they have received an offer from 2pm on the 26 August”.

📌 SMS text messages will also issue to those applicants who selected to receive text messages from CAO.

It is important to note that, while applicants may receive an email with their offer notification, they cannot log in to view and accept their offer until after 2pm on 26 August.

It was wonderful to welcome so many of our Leaving Certificate students back to school today as they collected their results.

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you and all that you have achieved. We wish you every success and happiness as you begin the next exciting chapter of your lives and the bright futures you have ahead of you. Enjoy the celebrations, stay safe and look after each other!

This is the start of a huge week for Leaving Cert students!

Ahead of the issue of LC results on Friday take note of the very important dates and deadlines linked to -

✔️Accessing your results,
✔️Viewing exam data,
✔️Apply to view your scripts
✔️Actually view the scripts
✔️Applying to appeal

‼️ You will notice the timelines are short and the deadlines are fina so that the appeals process can be completed with the appeal results issued on Sept 25th.

⚠️ In the emotion that surrounds the Leaving Cert results it can be easy to miss one of these important deadlines so make note of them!

Best of luck to our Class of 2026!

Tomorrow is a big day as our Leaving Cert students receive their results. We are so proud of all you have achieved and the dedication you have shown throughout your time in Sancta Maria College.

We would like to invite all of our LCT and LCA students to the school tomorrow at 12 noon. We will have tea, cake and some photos for those who wish to join us.

Hard copies of results will be available for collection from the school at that time.

Whatever path you take next, remember that you will always be part of the Sancta Maria family.

We are very excited for our fifth year students, Matilda, Kai, Tomás, John & Aidan as they set off for Lourdes to volunteer with the Rise & Shine Trust (formerly the Irish Pilgrimage Trust) this Friday!

They follow in the footsteps of the four students who volunteered last summer, and we are so proud of them for giving a week of their summer holidays to give their time and talents to a very worthy cause.

If you would like to help them reach their fundraising target before it closes on Friday, it would be greatly appreciated and a huge support to the charity.

Summer is almost here and we are looking for donations for our School Uniform Bank, please!

All local Primary & Secondary school uniforms in good condition welcome. Crested school jumpers particularly appreciated. No other clothes, shoes or bags please.

Donations can be dropped to our office on The Fairgreen or left in our porch Monday-Friday 9.15am-5pm. We will also leave a container outside the office for anyone who wants to donate outside office hours (please put items in a waterproof bag).

Best of luck to all of our students as they begin their State Examinations tomorrow.

Over the past number of years, you have worked hard, shown resilience, and overcome challenges to reach this point. Now is your opportunity to showcase all that you have learned.

Remember to believe in yourselves, stay calm, and take each exam one step at a time. Your results do not define you, and we are already incredibly proud of everything you have achieved.

We wish each and every one of you the very best of luck in the days and weeks ahead. Go in with confidence, do your best, and know that your school community is behind you all the way.
