👩‍🍳🍔🌭 SUMMER BBQ 2026 👩‍🍳🍔🌭

Yesterday the preschoolers here in Hi-5 had their annual summer BBQ😍

The boys and girls had a great time trying the burgers and hotdogs and washing it down with some cold drinks 🍔🌭🥛

We listened to music and enjoyed playing outside in the sunshine for the morning also 😁🌞

A big thank you to Paula who made all our yummy food and all the preschool teachers for a day filled with fun ❤️😍

We hope everyone had a lovely bank holiday weekend ! 😊

Hi-5 had a very special visitor this morning 🐰

The Easter Bunny came to say hello and left us some eggs to find outside 😍

The boys and girls had great fun on their Easter egg hunt and hopping all around and singing with Mr Bunny 💜

🐥💐SPRING / MOTHERS DAY / SHAPES🟨🟢

The boys and girls in hi-5 were very busy this week learning some more about spring 💐 and shapes 🟢🟨♥️

The created lots of lovely arts pieces, played with playdough and explored the big garden outside which they all loved😍

We were learning about the very special day for all our mammy's coming up and we made some lovely cards and crafts for them and listened to some stories 💜 😊

On thursday we celebrated world book day with some colouring and lots of listening to a reading our favourite stories 📖👑

We hope everyone has a lovely weekend and thanks again to all the staff here in hi-5 for another lovely week ♥️

💐🐑Spring, 🦹‍♀️🦸‍♀️SuperHeros & PJ Day💤

This week we explored spring in some of the rooms! 🐑

The children got creative with some arts and crafts 🎨 making lovely spring trees, flowers and chick paintings 🐥

They also had great fun playing with sensory rice and playdough.

The boys and girls really enjoyed planting some lovely flowers for around the creche and learning about a flower life cycle 💐🌸

The other children learned all about superheros 🦸‍♀️

They made some really cool superhero crafts like a princess castle and their very own stick figure superheros 😍

The spent the week dressing up as their favourite people and enjoyed lots of role play 👑

On Friday Hi-5 celebrated national pyjama day!

All the boys and girls were very cosy in their pyjamas, they brought in some of their favourite teddies 🧸and read lots of lovely stories 📖

They also enjoyed some hot chocolate and a muffin after their snack 😋😊

🥞Pancake Day & Chinese New Year🐉🇨🇳

This week all of Hi-5 were very busy celebrating pancake day and Chinese new year !

On monday and Tuesday the children decorated some lovely pictures of pancakes🎨 , had fun making them out of playdough and finally got to make their very own pancakes and topped them off with some yummy toppings 🥞🍓🫐

On Wednesday we celebrated Chinese new year 🇨🇳😁🎆! All the children made some lovely crafts and coloured in pictures of the year of the horse !🎨🐎 We sang along and danced to some Chinese music and had a look at a Chinese new year parade 🐉

That afternoon all the children got to taste some yummy Chinese food! 🍲😋We had noodles, spring rolls, chicken balls, rice, prawncrackeds and some nice sauces !

Thanks to all the staff for another amazing week ❤️ and to Maria for making all the lovely food 😍

♥️💜♥️ VALENTINES DAY ♥️💜♥️

Last week all the children here in Hi-5 celebrated valentines day 💘

They got creative making some lovely cards for their family and some arts and crafts 😀 🎨

They had lots of fun engaging in sensory activities like playdough and even a fun science experiment with exploding love monsters 🙉💜

On Friday they finished off their cards and made some heart shapes cookies filled with love 😍

We hope everyone had a lovely Valentines Day and enjoyed your cards and cookies 😊💜
