More than **one million children** have now been funded through Ireland’s Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Programme.

A new documentary, **Shaping the Future**, celebrates this milestone and explores the important role pre-school education plays in the lives, learning and wellbeing of young children and their families.

The documentary also shines a light on the professionalism, dedication and commitment of early years educators and providers across Ireland.

Starting primary school is a big step for children — and for parents too.

This session will support parents with practical ways to help children feel more confident, secure and ready for the move from Early Years to primary school.

We’ll look at everyday things that can make a real difference, including:

• Building confidence and independence
• Supporting your child emotionally through the transition
• Helping with routines for the school day
• Encouraging practical skills like managing lunchboxes, coats and belongings
• Strengthening the connection between home, Early Years settings and school

Very exciting day for our summer camp teacher Faith as she heads off to enjoy her debs this evening. Some of the children called to see her before she went to present her with some chocolates and flowers.It was a very emotional moment for some of the staff past and present (Angela, Leona, Mary, Úna)as they have watched Faith grow into the beautiful young lady she is for the past 18 years. A very special word of thanks to everyone, especially Úna who did the balloons.Hope everyone enjoys their weekend.🎉🌞🥰

What a beautiful day today was and how better to spend it … by having a water battle.The children and the staff had a blast. Special thank you to the parents who dropped in ice pops, ice cream and treats to ensure everyone stayed hydrated and were fit to participate in the fun🌞💦🔫😎
