We are looking forward to welcoming Conor Neilon to our salon tomorrow!
Conor is basing his new Barbering business in our main salon and we’d like to once again wish him the very best of luck on his new venture 😁👏🏼
....." I'm back, I'm back....
..god, those few weeks felt like months at times....but now I'm as excited as a young, innocent child just before Christmas...just one more sleep left now...and I'll probaby not sleep at all with the excitement....
..to be perfectly honest..even talking to you about it now has the butterflies dancing a jig in the pit of my stomach.....
.. at long last my dream from school can now become a reality....and tomorrow Thursday is the big day....
...when I walk up those stairs into the salon tomorrow morning....I think I'll be the proudest person in all of Longford ...town or county....Neilon's Barbers, 18 Main Street,Longford will be finally cleared for lift off......
...no, I never gave up hope....my family and freinds kept me spirits up...ok, it was a massive let down when they announced that second lockdown....but sure ,look, if it saved lives...isn't that a good thing......and they're talking about a vaccine....so it's all starting to look positive....
...an other thing that kept me going was Longford Town being promoted...that was magic...myself and my grandfather came in that night for the convoy round the town...and sure if Aodh Dervin turns up for a trim....we'll sort him for free....
...Cavan beating Donegal in Ulster was a big lift too....but I doubt if it'll be a close shave against the Dubs....but you have to believe ....you have to have hope.....if you don't have hope, you have nothing
..anyway...I've a few things to arrange here for tomorrow....my dream day....dreams do come true....
..just before you head....could I say a big thanks for all those people who wrote nice comments on the post earlier ....I really appreciated them...they helped me get through that let down of not being able to open last time...they really meant an awful lot to me....thanks again...and to Anne Norris of Shannonside who got in touch....it all make such a difference to me....
..and if I don't see you beforehand....happy Christmas !!....."
