Do you want to know something that annoys me about My Strawberry Vanilla Kombucha ???... It NEVER stays this colour!!!!
And rarely even remotely like pink or red.
The fermentation gobbles up the pigmentation and leaves me with a cloudy beige liquid which doesn't represent how it tastes.
It tastes amazing mind you !!!
However, I will not compromise the taste over how it looks, so I don't add anything.
I make it only a few weeks in summer when the Irish Strawberries are at their best 🍓🍓🍓

Hibiscus Ripple 🌺
Summer ferments are something special, frothy, fizzy and crazy, especially in this heat !!!
This Hibiscus Lemon kombucha is normally a very subdued ferment due to its low sugar content but it is loving the heat the past few weeks.

"My Brothers Talent".....
His life long obsession with Trees and Wood has delighted me with his first commission piece of Art.
It is Spalted Beech which is partially rotten wood that makes all these beautiful colours and grains.
To say I'm amazed is an understatement!!!

Did you know I make Lemonades for big events such as Garden shows and Food Festivals. 🍋🍋🍋
I've been making my delicious Honey Lemonades for many years featuring flavours like Pink Rasberry, Lavender, Elderflower, Lime and the simple but favourite, Classic Lemon.

"Sambucas" Black Elder has finally grown and eventually flowered for me.
It has been my arch nemesis for a few years now with many plants failing for some reason.
This one didn't thrive initially but has made it through so far this year.
I have another in the wings waiting to be planted in the right location.
How beautiful it is though!!!
I might be able to make my Pink Champagne in 10 years at this rate

Haven't heard the cuckoo yet though....
