Three years ago, Nickie visited our then 5th Class Junior Entrepreneur group as our guest entrepreneur.
The group were so impressed by Nickie and her online business. She generously shared her time, experience, ideas, tips and encouragement. She left a lasting impression on everyone in the room.

Today marked the end of our Summer Programme 2026! ☀️

Over the past two weeks, we enjoyed so many wonderful activities, some beautiful sunshine and lots of fun, laughter and learning together.

A huge thank you to all of our fantastic pupils who took part in the programme, you were amazing! 👏

A sincere thank you also to our wonderful staff for their enthusiasm and hard work in making the Summer Programme such a success.

Their Key Chains were in huge demand yesterday and sold out very quickly.

We were delighted to have Aidan Barry from Kilmurry Active Retirement Group raise our most recent Green Flag today. The group have supported our Green School committee throughout the year.

Our Green Schools Committee led by Múinteoir Denise have worked diligently over the last two years to secure our Global Citizenship – Litter and Waste Green Flag.

We are proud to have achieved this Flag and to be recognised for our commitment to environmental awareness, waste reduction and global citizenship.

A huge thank you to all of our pupils, staff, parents and wider school community who supported us on this journey. Well done to everyone involved! 💚♻️

📢 Reminder! Our Annual Jumble Sale is happening tomorrow! 🎉

This year all proceeds will be donated to the CART Bus (Carriganima Area Rural Transport), a locally run community bus service operated entirely by volunteers. Funds raised will go directly towards the ongoing running costs of the bus.

Rang a Sé had a wonderful week this week!

On Wednesday evening, they had their graduation ceremony, which was a lovely celebration of their time in Kilmurry N.S 👩‍🎓👨‍🎓

Lots of fun was had on Thursday in Smugglers Cove for their school tour. 🛶🤽‍♀️

A huge thank you to The Parents Association for hosting a delicious breakfast for the class in the museum this morning. A wonderful end to a great week! 🍳

A very exciting morning in Kilmurry NS.....
Past pupil Laura Murphy and Annie McElroy visited us this morning with the All-Ireland U14 LGFA Platinum Trophy and the Munster U14 LGFA Platinum Trophy.

We are so proud of the girls. They are wonderful role models in our community and an inspiration to our stars of the future.

They shared their journey to the All-Ireland Final, along with some great tips for our pupils. The girls answered all the questions that were asked by our pupils!

Many thanks for visiting us and congratulations again to Laura and Annie!
