Today we said an emotional goodbye to our class of 2025.
Watching these young people grow, learn, and laugh together has filled our hearts with so much joy.
Never stop exploring, asking questions, and believing in yourselves. Remember, you are smart, strong, and special just the way you are.
We’ll miss your bright smiles and big hugs, but we’ll always be cheering you on from afar!

⭐️⭐️ Christmas at the Growing Tree ⭐️⭐️

🎅🏻 Today was a magical day as we had extra special visitors all the way from the North Pole.

🎁 Imagine our delight when Santa & Mrs. Claus landed their sleigh at the top of the path and came down to visit the very good boys & girls of the Growing Tree!

⛄️ Mrs. Claus gave us all a bell for our trees and we all met Santa who gave us a little surprise and he told us the elves are packing up the sleigh for Christmas Eve!

☀️ Summer has finally seemed to have arrived and the boys and girls at the Growing Tree have been very busy setting up their very own Ice Cream Parlour at the outdoor kitchen. After we had lots of fun making using our imagination it was of course, time for real ice cream treat.

☀️ We have been reading Summer themed stories and for an extra special surprise, Sadie’s dad was very kind and brought his tractor to the school so we could all see it up close!

☀️ Today, our afternoon pre school went on their School Tour to Lismore Heritage Education followed by fun in the Park!

🌟 We walked down to the Courthouse bright and early and began the morning of fun with some colourful UV painting. The we did some fizzing, whizzing science experiments with a volcano and a plasma ball!

🚗 We went outdoors to the Park and did some giant engineering puzzles and to round up a super fun day, we went to the Playground.

☀️ Nothing could rain on our parade today as our morning preschoolers went on their school tour adventure to Ardmore Open Farm & Mini Zoo!

🚌 The bus picked us up this morning and off we went to Ardmore to meet some furry friends, play in the indoor and outdoor areas and of course go and see all of animals on our walk around the farm.

♻️ Last week, we had some beautiful weather and there was no better week to explore how we care for the environment.

✨ We went out and about in the community and used a plastic bottle recycling machine in the shop, visited the bottle bank for glass bottles, dropped some clothes at a clothes collection centre and watched waste get cleaned up by the bin collection truck.
☀️These real world experiences help us to remember how important it is for the planet to reduce, reuse and recycle.

“In the light of the moon a little egg lay on a leaf”

🐛 The Very Hungry Caterpillar has been our theme this week and we have been exploring nature and the life cycle of a butterfly through the beautiful story.
The children have been making caterpillar crafts, exploring themed tuff trays and learning all about how a beautiful butterfly begins life as a caterpillar.
