Adare Active Languages Adare Active Languages offers camps in French, German and Spanish to Junior Cycle students aged 11-15 years, in a creative and fun environment.

At Adare Active Languages, we offer 2 week camps in French, German and Spanish to Junior Cycle students aged 11-15 years. Languages will be taught in a creative and fun environment, by a mixture of native speakers and Irish teachers. Learning and teaching will be approached as a whole cultural experience. The students will learn songs / dance of their chosen language, as well as learning about the

cuisine, customs and sport of the country. In the morning the students will be taught in the classroom with an interactive approach. They will learn phrases and vocabulary which will be linked to the afternoon activities as well as general vocabulary. The activities include:

Basketball
Football
Hiking / picnic on nearby Knockfierna
Games from the chosen countries
Tennis
Rehearsals for a short stage drama to be performed for the parents in the relevant language

Cost for a 2 week camp in French, German or Spanish is €300 per student.
