Next in our cohort E2 introductions, we'd like you to meet the wonderful Kerry Jane Hurley 🎓✨

Kerry is a voice teacher and choir director based in County Limerick, Ireland. She is a certified Vocal Habilitation Professional and is currently training to become a Vocal Rehabilitation Specialist through Vocal Health Education UK. She recently completed courses in Counselling for Voice Practitioners and Vocal Massage Training with the Voice Care Centre.

Kerry runs a private voice studio and leads a contemporary adult pop and rock choir with sixty-five members. She embraces a biopsychosocial approach to voice and vocal health—an area she is excited to explore further through her MA studies in Voice Pedagogy with the Voice Study Centre.

We can't wait to catch up with Kerry later on in her studies!

Happy World Voice Day 💛! | April 16
World Voice Day is a reminder of just how important our voices are - especially for those who use them professionally, like performers, teachers, and public speakers.
This year’s theme, “Empower Your Voice,” is all about understanding how your voice works and how to take care of it so you can use it with strength and confidence.
It’s also a call to create safer spaces for voice professionals to feel comfortable speaking up about vocal issues without fear or shame. Vocal injuries are real, and no one should feel judged for needing support.
As a voice practitioner, I work with people to build healthy voice habits that help prevent strain and promote long term vocal wellbeing.
Let’s empower our voices - and each other! 💛

What an INCREDIBLE week in Dublin with these beautiful people! Attending the Vocal Massage Training with Robert Price was an AMAZING experience. His expert guidance, kindness and support helped us explore the anatomy of the voice and learn safe, effective vocal massage techniques using a biopsychosocial approach. Big thanks to Voice Care Centre for this opportunity and for sending us SUCH a fantastic teacher. Grateful for new friends, an amazing roomie, and excited to apply these skills in my studio work. CONGRATULATIONS everyone! 👏👏🙏🙏💕💕
