For anyone that has a real Christmas tree, just beware what a dry tree or faulty lights can cause. It can burn down your house so please be careful this time of year. Proof is in the video below and as a past firefighter I have seen the effects of this happening.

Today i am going to highlight the importance of CPR and the reason is that you never know when your skills may be needed, Yesterday in a primary school a 9 year old boy collapsed and died but by the principle doing CPR - that little boy is still alive today.
Plus the importance of the availability of defibrillators in the community is paramount.
We at Flood Fire & Medical are constantly training people in that skill and we are very good at it - reason is that all the instructors are Professional medics and highly skilled, if you or your friends and family are interested in completing this course - please contact us for our public courses.

A heroic school principal helped save a boy's life by performing CPR and using a defibrillator on him when he suffered a cardiac arrest.

After being made aware of the video link attached, it is vitally important to make sure we have 2 working smoke alarms in our homes - either they be mains operated or battery. Please make sure that you check them to see that they are working correctly, especially as we are coming into the cold nights and spending more time indoors, and using heating systems or more electrical units.

Researchers are trying to design new smoke alarm sound after it was discovered they fail to wake most children.

Last night i was pitchside medic in Thomond park for the meeting of Munster and the Cheetah's from South Africa - nice experience to be on the pitch watching players of the calibre of both teams and future teams to come - very lucky to be accepted by the Red Cross to be their medic chosen to be pitchside -- and sometimes on the TV when a player needs medical assistance as you see ---

Evening All -- as you have seen the last evenings post of Hands Only CPR and performed by the good Old Vinny Jones - if you listened - where to put your hands - how fast to push - how deep to push - and who you kiss - FUNNY - but actually factual - This evening I am posting the American version - depending on your age --- let me know which one you prefer but really the exact same info -- for men in the audience the medical crew is not reality

Ken Jeong suits up in new Stayin' Alive video to promote Hands-Only CPR. Please visit http://bit.ly/AHACrowdRise for more information.
