The Dance Academy Limerick For Children Who Love to Dance Welcome to the page of the Dance Academy Limerick! We offer classes in ballet, jazz and tap. We also offer adult classes.

Our school operates 7 days a week from our studios in Castletroy Town Centre, Limerick. We take students from 3 years for creative movement classes and from 4 for ballet. We aim to give our students every opportunity to develop their dance and performance skills. We have a school show every year and a half, we host guest teachers in a wide range of genres for workshops, we have had students successfully audition for Morea Performing Arts and the INYB, we have in house choreography competitions and also partake annually in the National Dance Championships. Students are provided with the opportunity to take examinations with the International Dance Teacher's Association (IDTA). If students are interested in learning through the Cecchetti Method, Alice Marshall provides classes and examinations through the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD). Our teaching faculty is lead by Stacey Booth. Classes are taught by dedicated, enthusiastic and caring teachers with a wealth of experience in a formative and caring environment. We welcome all enquiries and cater for all ages and abilities.

Congratulations to Dylan, who successfully auditioned for the Morea Associate programme, and will be joining them in Dublin this year. Dylan has been dancing with us for a number of years, and one of his great attributes is that he will turn his hand to anything. Whatever role we have in mind for him, he always says yes and gives everything a go. Such a great attitude! Well done on your success Dylan, you’ll be in great company and learn loads. 🕺🏻💪

Our lovely creative movement classes focus on fundamental movements in dancing using imagination, music and props to enhance their experience. These classes are for ages 3 to 4 years old. Our students gain so much confidence in themselves and their movements through these classes, as well as making friends through dance🩷

No, we haven’t started teaching babies and this isn’t Dance related!! 😅
But there are some lovely new Pregnancy, Mum and Baby and Baby related classes in our studio.
It’s great to be supporting each other and keeping our lovely community going. And these little ones may potentially become our students in years to come! 💙💕🕺🏻💃🏻
