In June, we were delighted to host the Engage in Education Awards Ceremony at tus_midwest, celebrating the incredible achievements of our students in 1st to 6th year.

A huge congratulations to every student who attended for their hard work, commitment, and dedication throughout the year. Your achievements are something to be proud of, what an amazing turn out 👏🏻

A special thank you to TUS Midwest Access Service for their continued support in facilitating events such as these, and their role in creating opportunities that empower our students reaching their full potential.

Our Student Rep Group got to enjoy a fun day out the 24th of June. Students engaged in kayaking and archery with Nevsail Watersports , followed by some food in 🍔L O C K E B U R G E R🍔 . A fantastic day at Leinster House , where Engage in Education was invited by Limerick TD Conor Sheehan T.D to give a briefing on the work we do, the impact it has on young people living locally, and the investment needed to ensure this work can continue and grow long-term.

The highlight of the day was hearing directly from some of our 3rd level students, who spoke brilliantly about their experiences and the difference these programmes have made to their education. Their honesty and confidence were a powerful reminder of why this work is so significant.

Yesterday, we held our 6th class graduation!🎓 Our 6th class students joined us on the University of Limerick campus where we got to enjoy some lunch in the Stables Club, followed by our graduation ceremony where our students received their graduation certificates, and began to prepare to move on to the next chapter in their educational journey.
