Principal Alex Dalton trained at Kate Simmons Dance Ltd in Warrington where she graduated with teaching qualifications in Cecchetti Classical Ballet and Modern Theatre. Both genres are affiliated with the worldwide organisation Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance. After graduating, Alex continued to dance, choreograph, and teach professionally in Germany, England, and Ireland while training furt

her to increase her education and has achieved Licentiate Status for her teaching of Classical Ballet. Alex founded The Alex Dalton School of Classical Dance in 2008 to offer students training at its very best. The purpose built dance studio is bright and spacious, equipped with correct dance flooring, mirrors and barres. It provides a safe environment to accommodate all forms of dance. The School has grown in reputation and stature. The Students attend weekly classes and acquire the skills required to perform the different dance genres. All students get their chance to take part in our winter ‘Open Day’ event and the School’s Annual Stage performance. Students also enjoy participating in our Ballet examinations. Whether a child takes up dance classes to build their confidence and gain new friends or for the more serious student who would like to pursue a career in dance and further their education in the performing arts, Dalton's Dance School’ is the perfect place to begin!
