Our campaign has been successful in achieving patronage for the Second Level School to open in Castletroy/Monaleen area of Limerick city, thus the page will now serve to inform the parental community of Limerick city of any updates on the opening of the school in 2018

Educate Together second-level schools provide a caring and supportive school community that nurtures each student’s perso

nal, social and academic potential throughout their school career. Our approach at second-level moves away from 'teaching to the test' and towards an emphasis on the learner. Students develop skills in creative and critical thinking, communication, teamwork, research and leadership. Teachers in an Educate Together second-level school use the best teaching and learning methods to make students’ learning active, relevant, challenging and enjoyable. Our ethos provides a strong moral, ethical and spiritual framework for the whole school community, and informs all policies and practices in the daily life of the school. Students follow an ethical curriculum, which includes learning about different religions and belief systems.

Next Week's Schedule and iPad Deployment for 1st Year Students
Dear parents/carers,
It was lovely to welcome back 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th year students this week together with staff. Please note that only 1st year students are in school on Monday next until 1pm. All other year groups will return on Tuesday until 1pm also before resuming full school days from Wednesday onwards.
Please note also that there will be a delay to the deployment of iPads for 1st Year students on Monday. We will confirm a new date next week. This is due to reasons beyond our control with Apple and Select.

Congratulations to our Leaving Cert Class of 2026!
Congratulations to all of our Leaving Certificate students on receiving your results.
Today marks the culmination of many years of hard work, commitment, resilience and determination. Each of you should be proud of what you have achieved and of the journey you have taken to reach this point.
While results are important, they are only one part of your story. The friendships you have made, the challenges you have overcome, the experiences you have shared and the person you have become are equally significant. There are many different pathways ahead, and I hope you approach the next chapter with confidence, curiosity and ambition.
On behalf of all of the staff at Limerick ETSS, I want to wish you every success and happiness for the future. We are very proud of you, and we hope you will always look back on your time with us with fond memories.
Well done, Class of 2026 — and the very best of luck with everything that comes next.

It's Official! Grease the Musical - 2027
We are delighted to announce that next year's musical will be Grease. The musical will take place from the 10th-12th February 2027 in the Sports Hall. Auditions for lead roles will follow a similar format to this year. Students from all year groups are invited to audition. More details to follow in in due course.
