The German students from CoJoBo arrived on February 25th and stayed 6 nights in Limerick. During their time here they attended school and classes with their exchange partners. They did a fabulous tour of Limerick with 6th Year History student Darragh O’Donoghue acting as tour guide. At the weekend they travelled to Galway and they experienced a Munster rugby game in Thomond Park. They visited the Cliffs of Moher on a beautiful sunny day as well as Lahinch. They even managed a trip out to UL for the climbing wall as their last activity. Thank you to everyone who helped out with special thanks to the kitchen staff who fed the students while they were here. A successful adventure, hopefully more exchanges to follow!

Our 1st Year Anois Activity Day was a great success, organised by our TY Anois students. They put a lot of time and effort into planning the day, and it really showed. We were also delighted to welcome some of the Anois Programme leaders from Castletown, County Laois, who joined us for the activities. The TY students completed the Anois Programme in Castletown in January 2026, and it was wonderful to see them bring what they learned back to school to create such an enjoyable day for our first years.

A big thank you to David Dooley from Bank of Ireland for providing expert training and mentorship to our students.

Our TY and LCA students enjoyed an excellent skills session at the driving range, where they learned the key fundamentals of golf. Students practised their grip, stance, swing technique, and ball‑striking, gaining confidence as they worked through a series of drills and challenges.
The session offered a great introduction to the sport, helping students develop coordination, focus, and a sense of achievement as they saw their progress with each swing.
A warm thank you to Acres Limerick for providing the space and support to make the day possible

Our 5th year students visited the Modulacc premises on the Dock Road yesterday as part of the Business in the Community programme. The visit focused on helping students to build their own skill set as they got a chance to speak to employees from different departments in the business including project management, supply chain and design. They also got a tour of the premises to see the different departments in action. Many thanks to Modulacc and Business in the Community for inviting us to take part in this excellent initiative.

It’s that time of year where our Transition Year students pick their Senior Cycle paths, so what better way than hearing from their fellow students on how 5th Year has gone so far in each of our option subjects. The TY Subject Expo gives teachers and students a chance to discuss curriculum, projects and future prospects in order to help them in making the right decision for their 5th and 6th Year studies.

It was all about energy efficiency for another group of Transition Year students yesterday as they attended the NZEB Workshop. Students learned about ways to minimise energy waste and how homes are being built in a more sustainable manner. Hands on skills with real life, observable advantages for our environment. Huge thanks to Pat for leading the workshop.

Our TY and LCA students had an unforgettable experience diving into the fast‑paced world of fencing ! From footwork to strategy, they threw themselves into every challenge and picked up some seriously impressive skills along the way.

A huge thank you to Patrick Dight from Fencing Ireland for delivering such an engaging, high‑energy workshop. The students were buzzing afterwards and might just have found a brand‑new passion!

There was a special delivery to St. Clement’s College over the February mid term break as our ICT staff worked to install thousands of euro worth of brand new computer equipment into our refurbished Computer Science Lab. Computer Science is one of the newest additions to our Senior Cycle curriculum here in St. Clement’s under the expertise of Mr. McInerney. It has proven to be a very popular choice with students this year and this investment will aid students to undertake state of the art learning experiences.
