Fantastic achievement! 🇮🇪🏀

Congratulations to Laura Buckley on helping Ireland's U18 Women's National Team to a superb 88-55 victory over Estonia.

Laura produced a player-of-the-match performance, scoring a game-high 26 points in an outstanding display to help Ireland get their campaign off to the perfect start.

Everyone at Thomond Community College is incredibly proud of Laura's continued success on the international stage. We wish her and the Irish team the very best for the rest of the tournament.

End of Year Reflection Thomond Community College

As another school year comes to a close, we reflect on an incredible journey at Thomond Community College. For some students, this was the beginning of their journey with us, while for others it marked the end of a memorable chapter.

This year was filled with wonderful experiences, achievements, and opportunities. We strengthened connections with a wide range of organisations and celebrated the diversity of our school community through our vibrant Multicultural Day. We enjoyed Sports Day, Christmas celebrations, merit awards, scholarships, attendance awards, ethos awards, and so many other special moments.

Our students participated in countless sporting events, clubs, and extracurricular activities, creating memories, friendships, and experiences that will last a lifetime. We were also honoured to welcome the Minister for Education to our school during the year.

A sincere thank you to our dedicated staff, hardworking students, supportive parents, and the wider community for making this such a successful year. Thomond Community College is a very special place, full of laughter, togetherness, opportunity, and lasting memories.

We wish everyone a safe, happy, and enjoyable summer and look forward to another fantastic year
