Little hands, big skills in the making ✨ Our junior infants have been busy squishing, rolling, pinching and shaping their playdough — all while secretly building strong fine motor skills that help with writing, cutting and everyday independence. 💛

Our brand new school playground is finally here! 🎉🌈
After a tremendous year of fundraising, the boys and girls have spent the last two days seesawing, spinning, climbing, sliding and rocking their way around the new equipment, and it’s safe to say it’s a HUGE hit! 😄🎠✨

We have been regulating between lessons, building confidence, and developing those all‑important gross motor skills 💪🧠💛

A massive thank you to our incredible community for your support through our school lotto, we truly couldn’t have done this without your generosity 🙌💙
This playground will be enjoyed by pupils for many years to come, and we are feeling very lucky indeed 🍀💫

Tomorrow, our school will say goodbye to one of our SNAs, Eileen. Eileen joined our school 20 years ago and has had a huge impact on both the pupils and staff members who have passed through over the years.

For the children, they will miss Eileen's care and attention in every aspect of their schoolday. Ensuring they always felt supported and understood, Eileen has influenced generations of people from around Askeaton, shown in how they still interact with her around the town, years after they have moved on from us.

For the staff, Eileen's presence will be greatly missed. Her humour both in and outside the classroom always shone in how she interacted with each and every staff member daily (when she was in!) and in celebrating her today, there wasn't one person who didn't have a wonderful story or an anecdote with Eileen over the years.

Eileen, we wish you the very best in your retirement, we can't wait to see what adventures you go on 🛫🧳🏖

A huge well done to Emily for her 100% attendance this school year! The boys and girls who had 5 or less days absent for this whole school year were also presented with an attendance certificate in yesterday's assembly.

Attendance at school is vital for children in their education and helps them to build good routines for their lives ahead. Well done to these pupils.
