A huge thank you and a heartfelt bon voyage to our wonderful Mrs. McGee.

Mrs. McGee has been involved in LKMUN since the very beginning back in 2017, when the first conference was run in our very own school. She has since devoted her time to help create this incredible event into what it has become today! Her hard work and dedication can be seen in the two fantastic days each year!

It’s with great sadness that Mrs.
McGee will be stepping down from her position this year, the committee will miss her greatly and thanks her for everything she has done for us. We wish her all the best in everything she does.

It is with great pleasure that welcome Mrs. Winston as our new head Secretary General and we wish her all the best for LKMUN 2021.

And that’s a wrap on LKMUN 2020🌟

Thank you so so much to all the delegates who participated in the conference from those who submitted resolutions, speeches, amendments and more! We the committee are blown away by your enthusiasm and couldn’t have asked for better delegates to make our 2020 confrence.

You should all be incredibly proud of yourself and hopefully the confrence has inspired you to be more politically involved in your futures!

We would also like to say a huge thank you to all the participating schools and teachers!

Of course a huge well done to the admin team, tech kids! , teachers and 2020 LKMUN committee for all the hard work that goes into the conference.

It was a huge honour to have The Minister for Education Joe McHugh join us yesterday for our opening ceremony at LKMUN 2020. We were delighted to have him address the delegates and encourage them to become active agents of change in the world. We the LKMUN committee thank him for his support and encouragement:)

Huge congratulations to the delegate of Belize who’s resolution for Capital Punishment was chosen ! If any delegate has any questions feel free to message us ! A reminder to the delegates who wrote resolutions that were not chosen , they will still be useful tomorrow during debate 😊

We are excited to inform you that we have chosen the resolution for Issue 1 (religious freedom) written by the delegate of China 🇨🇳

It was a hard decision considering the standard of all resolutions submitted, if you submitted a resolution for issue 1 and it was not chosen, we will be in contact with you with information about it this evening!
Please bring any resolutions for issues 2 and 3 with you to the first day of the conference 🇺🇳
