Ice-cream was a big interest in our outdoor area with some children using our boat each day as an ice-cream truck calling "who wants ice-cream?". We expanded this learning last week planning some fun ice-cream activities. We ended the week with an ice-cream treat where each child ordered from the hatch their favourite flavour and choice of sprinkles and a flake🍦🍨

Our little budding gardeners planted potatoes and onions last week in our planting beds. 🥔🧅👨‍🌾👩‍🌾

Following some of our children's interest each day at freeplay setting up the table for dinner in the home corner, a beautiful "afternoon style" tea party was planned for our afternoon pre-schoolers yesterday 🫖☕️🧁🍰🥪 A selection of sandwiches, cakes and biscuits was enjoyed with a cup of hot orange or blackcurrant 😊

A very special visitor surprised the children today in the pre-school with a chocolate Easter egg for everyone🐰 Great eggcitement🥚🍫
