Developed by the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA), the Family Guide to Aistear helps families understand Aistear: the Early Childhood Curriculum Framework and how it supports babies’, toddlers’ and young children’s learning and development in early childhood settings.

The guide provides an accessible introduction to Aistear, including its principles and themes, and highlights the important role of relationships, play and meaningful learning experiences.

As settings welcome new and returning children and families this September, this is a useful resource for educators to share and help families learn more about the experiences that support their child’s learning and development.
