Supporting the inclusion of Traveller and Roma children in Early Learning and Care webinar series.

This webinar series will provide valuable professional learning opportunities for all Early Learning and Care (ELC) educators, supporting the development of inclusive practices and the implementation of Aistear 2024. The updated framework emphasises the importance of empowering all children “to learn about and value the languages, histories, stories, folklore and culture of Ireland, including those of the Traveller community.”

Are you Childminding in your own home or thinking about Childminding in your own home?
The Pre-Registration Training Programme will help you to:
• Understand the new childminding regulations.
• Apply the regulations to your childminding practice.
• Understand the Tusla registration process for childminders.
• Understand the documentation required to register with Tusla.
• Access supports and resources.
It will also provide an opportunity to meet with other childminders both new and existing which will offer you great peer to peer support.

If, having explored all reasonable options your service closes, please update your service calendar as appropriate. Where available, you can use a subsidised closure day in line with NCS rules. A service will not need to amend an individual claim once the calendar has been updated.
