Sylvester Clancy - Executive Director Sylvester Clancy is the site lead of FinTrU Ireland. Based at FinTrU’s Letterkenny office, he also has responsibility for a number of strategic client engagements.

Sylvester has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry. During this time, he has led global teams, delivering operational excellence across Information Technology, Compliance, and Cyber Security sectors.
Prior to joining FinTrU, Sylvester was Vice President of Information Security for a global Fortune 500 company.

He is a graduate from Atlantic Technological University (ATU) (Batchelor of Science in Applied Computing) and University of Galway (Master of Business Administration).

Rural Enterprise Skillnet is delighted to announce the launch of our Women in Construction programme, a full-time ten-week programme, open to unemployed women seeking to work in this sector.

This FREE full-time programme begins on April 2nd, offering an opportunity for a new career path and providing essential skills and certification for women in the construction sector.

All participants will undertake a four-week work placement following the completion of a six-week training programme which will provide practical experience and the opportunity to showcase their newly acquired skills to potential employers.

If you are currently unemployed and eager to start a new career, we are hosting an information session on March 5th, at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Letterkenny to provide an opportunity to hear from, Rural Enterprise Skillnet Network Manager, Brenda Donagher, as well as training providers, and potential employers.
