A huge welcome to our 180 new First Year students who began their journey with us at Saint Eunan’s College today!

It was a fantastic first day getting settled in, meeting teachers, finding lockers, and finding their feet. Today marks the very first step in what will be an incredible few years of growth, learning, and lifelong friendships in the Castle on the hill.

We are delighted to have every single one of you with us. Wishing the Class of 2032 the very best of luck—you’re off to a flying start!

A huge welcome back to the Castle to our former Head Boy, Michael Sweeney 2024/25.

Michael, now in his second year at University of Galway studying Medicine, returned to the College on Friday to share his valuable experience as a former prefect and Head Boy with our new Senior Leadership Team and Senior Prefects.

Michael delivered an engaging and entertaining presentation on the role of a prefect, highlighting the importance of teamwork, good communication and supporting one another.

A sincere thank you to Michael for taking the time to share his experience and advice with our student leaders. We wish him every success with his studies and look forward to welcoming him back again in the future.

Our senior leadership team and prefects were ready to welcome our new incoming First Years today!

Each First Year class has been assigned four prefects who will act as mentors and role models, checking in with our new students and supporting them as they settle into College life over the coming weeks.

We are delighted to see our prefects embracing this important leadership role. They will also be organising the First Year Football League very soon, watch this space! 🏐

We were delighted to welcome our First Years into St Eunan's College this morning. It was fantastic to see the smiles and hear laughter in the corridors, both at the beginning and end of the day. We're looking forward to seeing you again tomorrow.

Tomorrow, on his first anniversary, our school community will gather to remember and celebrate the life of our cherished teacher and friend, Ollie Horgan, with Mass and a memorial service.

Ollie’s passion, dedication, and spirit left an indelible mark on generations of students and colleagues alike.

Our continued love, thoughts, and prayers are with Anita, his family, and all who miss him dearly.
