Three full years…

I honestly can’t believe it! 🥋❤️

Three years ago, we opened the doors of Donegal School of Shotokan Karate, never imagining just how special this journey would become.

Tonight, celebrating our 3rd anniversary and my birthday surrounded by so many amazing people made it even more meaningful. 🥹❤️

I was completely spoiled with the most beautiful cards, cake and presents, and I’m so incredibly grateful to everyone who took the time to make my birthday so special. 🎁🎂

This club has grown into so much more than I ever imagined. It’s a place of friendship, confidence, hard work, laughter, achievements and, most importantly, a karate family. 🥋❤️

To every student, parent, family member, instructor, supporter and friend who has been part of the journey over these three years — thank you. You have helped make this little dream into something truly special.
Three years down… and hopefully many, many more to come! 🥋❤️

A huge thank you to 4th Dan Aide Hudson sensei all the way from Bushido Karate Club, for coming to our club and delivering an outstanding session on Kihon, Kumite, Bunkai, and Kata.
Your knowledge, passion, and attention to detail made for a fantastic training experience, and everyone took away something valuable to improve their karate. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your expertise and inspire our students.
Thank you again, Adrian—we hope to welcome you back to the club again soon! 🥋👊

Mary's Meals are delighted, in fact thrilled, to announce that Fr Eamonn Kelly is getting rid of the beard in a sponsored beard and head shave. It will take place at the Diamond, Donegal Town on Saturday 11 July from Noon to 4pm. Mary's Meals are presently feeding 3,060,011 Children every day in school and €22 provides food for a child for a full school year. Any support is greatly appreciated.

What a weekend! 💥

A brilliant couple of competitions starting with the 18th UKF Invitational Tournament on Saturday thanks to Ulster Karate Do Federation in Burnfoot, followed by an early start on Sunday for Mary competing in Lisburn at the Northern Ireland Karate Open hosted by Northern Ireland Karate Board

Huge well done to everyone — an incredible display of courage, skill, and determination all round.

🥇🥈🥉 Burnfoot Results (Saturday):
Matthew Langan – Bronze, Inclusive Kata
Oleksandr Terpetskyi – Gold, Jurakan & Bronze, Kata
Seamus Carr – Silver, Kata
Jenny Carr – Bronze, Jurakan
Lilly Bradley – Silver, Jurakan & scored her first 2 points in Kumite 👏

Special mention to Liudmyla Terpetska and Marie Gibson for setting all new personal bests in Kata, along with Seamus 💪, blown away by your performances on the mat.

We made it to 4th in the table at Burnfoot too, outatanding for only a small team of newbies 😃❤️☺️🎉

Lisburn (Sun): Silver in Kata
