WE’RE HIRING
Leixlip ETNS is seeking a bus es**rt to support pupils travelling to and from school.
Hours of Work
Morning: Depart Leixlip ETNS at approximately 7:10am to collect pupils, arriving back at the school by 8:40am.
Afternoon: Depart the school at 2:20pm with pupils to their home/drop-off point, returning to the school between 3:30pm and 4:00pm.
Monday to Friday, in line with the school calendar.

Key Responsibilities
Assisting pupils on and off the bus, ensuring their safety at all times.
Supervising pupils during travel, including checking seat belts and safe storage of bags/equipment.
Acting as a link between home and school for relevant communication.
Treating pupils, parents, and bus drivers with sensitivity and respect.
Meeting the bus driver daily at Leixlip ETNS.
Supporting the Educate Together ethos.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable, energetic, and flexible, and available to work throughout the school calendar year. They will also be aware of the child-centred principles of the Educate Together ethos.
The successful candidate will be Garda Vetted by the school / Educate Together and will be required to complete child protection training and any other Continuous Professional Development relevant to the position.
Salary
€15.66 per hour (Department of Education and Youth rate).
Paid fortnightly during term time.
Escorts are not paid during school holidays but receive statutory holiday pay of 8%.
