Don't worry, your nights will be filled with many and varied things to do, places to go and adventures to have.....and of course there is also time to simply relax and just enjoy the beauty of the local countryside. Wi-Fi is also available on the premises

All Our Extra Curricular activities are provided by full trained and experienced instructors from the Allen Center. All Staff here are fully trained, and insured.
In LinguaWest we try to vary the activities provided each afternoon, morning or evening. Some activities will incur an additional cost locally but this will be advised well in advance.
In the evening time students will take part in group bonding activities, sports, Irish cultural activities including Irish dancing lessons and memorable visits to Gaelic football or Hurling matches. Attending these sporting events is sure to be an occasion to remember for our students.

LinguaWest partners with "The Allen Center" for our short stay accommodation.
Overlooking the beautiful Lough Allen, this is a new modern hostel on the shores of lough Allen, warm, clean and beautiful surrounds.

Students are fully supervised at all times by a representative from LinguaWest during their stay in the Allen Center
Full Year/Part Year Students
For those attending on longer term study vacations, LinguaWest will arrange host families. These host families are carefully selected and police vetted. Families are matched with the interests of the student foremost in our minds. We are keen to ensure that our students are well looked after and cared for as a member of a family.
An area coordinator is available at all times to liaise between the home and the host family and the student. A full resume of the host family along with contact details is provided for each student before they travel.

For a two week English study Experience to remember LinguaWest have all aspects covered.
Our prime focus is to develop and enhance your English language skills with a strong emphasis on oral English. Students are expected to use English at all times to the best standard they can.
We accept students of varying standards of English and mix nationalities in order to ensure the use of English as the conversational medium;

Academic Year Courses
(Full or Half Year)
LinguaWest provides students with the option of full-time study in a rural Irish school for the full academic year.
Students may also opt to stay for half the academic year (Sept to Christmas).
At LinguaWest we offer a full service to make your year a year to remember. This includes host Family placement and school placement.
Transition Year students are especially welcome and we have schools ready to accept our Transition Year students
