Following the Montessori and Aistear Siolta curriculum, implementing a child led, play based curriculum. St John's Montessori Preschool & Afterschool is a purpose built childcare facility offering the two free preschool years under the ECCE Scheme and subsidised rates under the various government schemes. We also offer an afterschool & homework club.

Position:
Early Years Practitioner

Location: St. John's Preschool & Afterschool, Lecarrow.

Hours: Monday-Friday 9:30-1:30

Start Date: 28th August 2025

We are searching for a caring and enthusiastic educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have -
*Experience working with children age 2-5 years
*Hold a minimum Level 6 in Childcare
*Be reliable, nurturing and a great communicator
*Work well as part of a team and take initiative
*Bring creativity, energy and joy to the classroom
*Good IT and social media skills

Duties: In line with the Aistear Curriculum, plan and implement an age appropriate curriculum based on the child's own interests.
