What a special day we had on Friday.
Santa visited on his sleigh , socially distant greetings in no way took from the wonder of the occasion. Our Thanks to Santa, his Reindeer handler, and all the elves who made the magical grotto appear. 🦌

A little insight into our day at Rinn Dun Montessori. We follow the emergent interest of the children which allies beautifully with the ethos of the Montessori Method of early years education. Each day is different but most of all each child is unique. The greatest complement is due to our wonderful teachers. ❤️ What a fantastic, creative, caring and imaginative bunch they are. ❤️

Recent fun in the sun

A little glimpse of our last couple of weeks emerging interests. We try to incorporate the voice of the child into our active curriculum but most of all we see happy children. We will miss our second year ECCE children who will transition to primary school in September.

We have been quiet on Facebook but, have been very busy in real life! Our private Instagram is active too.

Here is a snapshot of our “April at Rinn Dun Montessori”.
We began with Mary had a little lamb our annual ‘storytelling” event. ... then moving on to...posting a letter, complete with post box and personal delivery.... then on to water activities with the Montessori Landforms. Island and lake, cape and bay etc (with miniature land, air and water animals)
We expanded the children’s emerging interests and it brought us to boats and fishing. Alongside these topics ... We have our duck eggs in the incubator and are eagerly awaiting our new arrivals hatching at the moment. We can’t wait. ❤️🐣🐤
