Political systems depend on the consent of the governed.

Consent can be withheld. We have more power than we know.

Myself, and Pamela Quiery Parent Coach & Mentor discuss system change from a parenting perspective, following our workshop last month for Imagine. The Belfast Festival of Ideas & Politics on parenting can change the world. Have a listen? I'd love to hear your thoughts! https://anchor.fm/peaceful-parents/episodes/028-Big-Picture-Parenting-the-why-of-gentle-parenting-and-how-it-can-change-the-world-with-Kathryn-McCabe-e1heeue

Why does gentle parenting matter so much?

In this week’s podcast episode I am joined by Kathryn McCabe, social ecologist and founder and director of the Change Agency. Kathryn is passionate about creating change at a systems level and in this conversation we look at how we can change our society for the better through parenting.

We started this conversation in a workshop we jointly facilitated as part of the Imagine Festival of Ideas in March 2022 on how parenting can change the world.

I enjoyed the conversation with Kathryn so much I decided to invite her onto the podcast so we could talk some more about the big ideas of why parenting matters as a form of social activism.

So let’s zoom out for a minute and take a look at the big picture of parenting and why we think gentle parenting can and will change the world.

I would absolutely love to hear your thoughts on this topic so please share and let's keep the conversation going.

You can search for the episode wherever you normally listen to podcasts (Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts etc.) by searching for "Parenting with Pam"
