Movie Night

The next fundraising event from KSW Cork is our movie night; a chance to see The Karate Kid on a big screen, starring Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith.
A great family friendly martial arts movie full of action and humour, this move was chosen by KSW Cork Master instructor Matt for two very specific reasons: firstly Matt credits Jackie Chan movies with being one of the main inspirations that led him to dedicating his life to martial arts and secondly, this version of The Karate Kid came out in 2010, the same year that Matt founded KSW Cork in Ballinspittle. It was the first ever movie that Matt and Fiona took their daughter to see at the cinema (even if she was only a couple of months old and too young to remember).

So it’s only right that this movie should show in the place where it all began for KSW Cork, in Ballinspittle hall on Saturday 15th August .

All entries get free popcorn 🍿
