Magic Steps Childcare Magic Steps Childcare provides Top Quality Childcare in Kinnegad.From 6 months to 12 Years.Full-Time, Part-Time, Sessional Classes & ECCE scheme.

We believe that your child should feel as happy at Magic Steps as at home. We make every effort to provide the stimulation and security that young children need. Magic steps is an informal environment where each child has the opportunity to develop social skills, and for the children, Magic steps is a fun place to be. Magic Steps childcare centre is health board registered and will comply with all regulations and guidelines. All the rooms in Magic Steps centre are well designed and equipped to meet the children’s educational, social, physical and emotional needs.

We are looking for a highly motivated , fun, team member who embraces the challenges of working and educating young children.

Job Title: Childcare Practitioner- Full time. starting september 2026.

Key Roles: Working as a room leader / Assistant with all age groups. Reports to the manager of the service.Excellent commmunication skills, bubbly fun personality, Team Player, Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations. Garda Vetting required.

Qualifications: level5/6 certificate in Childcare (Minium or Equivalent)
Experience: 1/2 years experience required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Planning and implementing the daily activities of the childcare service
Setting out the room prior to each session and activities
Maintaining child records and carrying out observations
planning and implementing Aister/Suiolta within the service.
Ensuring the overall safety and Well-Being of the children.
Ensuring a good standard of Hygiene and general cleaning duties for the childcare facility.
communicating with parents daily.
Attending meetings when required.
attending relevant training.
