Yesterday we welcomed 6th class
Students from Scoil Mocheallóg, Kilmallock National School along with their parents and teachers for a presentation of certificates.

Scoil Mocheallóg Kilmallock National School took part in some taster Family Learning sessions in Craft. Adult Educator Rose created a fun and safe space in the school for children to engage in a ceramics activity. Adult Educator Geraldine delivered a fun and interactive Transitioning from Primary to Secondary school programme. We would like to thank the Principal Lionne, Vice Principal Sinead, Home School Community Liaison Liam , a number of Teaching Staff especially Ms Brady and Mr McCarthy and Special Needs Assistants from the school community for supporting the collaboration with us here College of FET Kilmallock Town Campus.

Families attended a presentation of certs, they got a tour of the building here at College of FET Kilmallock Town Campus followed by food and refreshments. Art work from the children was on display along with comments from the children about what they had learned. We look forward to engaging with the school further and creating more fun and enjoyable learning experiences for families through Family Learning.

What a fabulous day we had on our trip to Cahir Castle 🏰✨! Steeped in history, the castle — home to the Butler family for over six centuries — brought the past to life as we explored the towers, banqueting hall, and impressive portcullis.

Our next stop was the enchanting Swiss Cottage 🌿🏡, where we admired the beautiful 200-year-old wallpaper, elegant balconies, and charming music room 🎼.

A wonderful way to end the term with our learners ❤️ — full of history, friendship, discovery, and sunshine ☀️ on the hottest day in May!
