Delighted to receive this certificate in the post today. Addiction is one of the most misunderstood challenges in our society and also one of the most widespread at the moment.

When we have a problem, it’s understandable how easy it is to reach for relief. After all it can work.. But what if the quick fix becomes a ‘fix’ of its own?

In a fast paced world. Let’s slow down. And lets start these conversations.✨

Well I have it. I’m now a certified Addiction Coach!Though I would say my qualification really comes from the hard earne...

Well I have it. I’m now a certified Addiction Coach!

Though I would say my qualification really comes from the hard earned experience of life in addiction.

In doing the work of recovery we need help. We NEED support. And today - this is my new offering to you.

🤝 I can sit with you while we explore pasts and present, the pains and the hurts. In a safe, confidential space. I will never judge you. I know how our addictions can lead us to behave in ways we don't always understand. Hear that.. I won’t judge. I know that’s one of the reasons some of us hold ourselves back. We’ve done bad things, that doesn’t mean WE’RE bad.

❣ It is never too late to do the work. The best time to heal is now. Because the reason we may even be reading this - is because we’re ready now! Life's too short than to have our life lead by behaviours that are outside of us. We can take this power back through the power of coaching and healing.

☘ In a nutshell, my journey to healing started when I was 28. My life was out of control, I was lost, I hated myself and instant gratification was my solution to most things in life. Alcohol mainly was my 'solution' of choice. No matter how many times I said I’d stop, I never could. I used to casually tell loved ones every now and again i'd cut down or even stop someday, but deep down I thought I’d never be able to. I could never say the words.. "I'm afraid I can't stop" or "I need help to stop..". Why? Because then I might be made give up my "friend".

🌟 Gabor Mate describes Addiction as “manifested in any behaviour that a person craves, finds temporary relief or pleasure in but suffers negative consequences as a result of, and yet has difficulty giving up.”
You’ll see on his description, it’s described as any behaviour. So the list is infinite on the addictions that I can help you with. It can vary, from phone use, relationships, drugs, alcohol, overthinking, shopping, food, s*x and painkillers.

☎ I can help you find out where your addiction has come from, how we can transition from the addiction, and help you envision a life free from it. I’ve done it, so will you!

Listen in here to my conversation with Coach Christina Wong ✨

She has made incredible steps in her life journey. We talk on what a life of personal development is all about, the suprises and also the helpers along the way. Christina has such a light and so full of positive energy, it was such a delight to speak with her on these topics.

Here she shares a piece on her life’s journey and work: Personal growth has always been important to me, though when I was younger it came from a place of improving myself for other’s acceptance, as a way to avoid being rejected or hurt. Now, my personal growth comes from a place of getting in touch with who I am when I strip away all of the conditioning that I inadvertently internalised from others. Learning how to love myself in that stripped down way has been a journey of learning boundaries, assertive communication, vulnerability, and what my values truly are. The journey never ends so long as I live and breathe, and the work never stops…but my skill set to deal with it all continues to grow, and I have no doubt, will continue to bring beautiful moments into my world. And now, I share these tools with others so they have the opportunity to do the same and live the enriching lives they deserve!
