A ‘Celebration of Education’ mass will be held in Highwood church, 7:00pm on Friday 9th. Refreshments afterwards in the school. This is to mark the amalgamation with Geevagh and closing of the building in Kilmactranny. All members of the community are very welcome to join us on the night. We would love to see past parents and pupils there. Please share this post with people who you think may be interested.

Today, Benny Joyce gave us a workshop called ‘Nuts and Bolts’. We learned about algae and the different types and effects they have on our waterways. We then went to Lough Arrow to carry out tests on the clarity, pH levels and the amount of algae present. We had a great day. Well done all!
