🎒 THE NIGHT BEFORE SCHOOL 🍎

Tonight, little uniforms are laid out,
tiny shoes are waiting by the door,
and school bags are packed for a brand-new adventure.

For some little ones, tomorrow is their very first day.
For others, it’s the beginning of another exciting year.

And while our children might be dreaming
of new classrooms, new friends and new adventures,
there are mammies and daddies lying awake wondering…

“How did they grow up so quickly?” ❤️

Tomorrow, we will straighten their uniforms,
fix their hair, hold their little hands
and try our very best to smile as we wave goodbye.

Because with every new beginning,
we have to let them go just a tiny bit more.

They are stepping out into the world,
finding their own feet,
making their own friendships,
discovering what they love
and becoming their very own little person.

There may be nervous tummies.
There may be tears from the children and the grown-ups!
But there will also be laughter, friendships, learning,
stories to tell and memories waiting to be made.

So tonight, give them an extra cuddle.
Tell them how brave they are.
Tell them how proud you are.

And tomorrow, when you watch that little school bag
disappear through the door, remember…

You gave them the roots to feel safe,
and now you’re giving them the wings to fly. 🕊️

To every little one starting or returning to school…

Be brave. Be kind. Be curious.
And most importantly, always be YOU. 🌈

And to all the mammies and daddies…

You’ve got this too. ❤️
