We are pleased to announce the next 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧-𝐭𝐡𝐞-𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 (TOT) event, taking place from 16–20 November 2026 at Aeres Tech
This intensive international training is designed for trainers, educators and HVACR professionals who want to strengthen their expertise in low-GWP refrigerants and join the growing Real Alternatives training network.

🔥 Flammable Refrigerants (Hydrocarbons)
❄️ Carbon Dioxide (CO₂ – R744)
🧪 Ammonia (NH₃ – R717)
✨ New for 2026: this edition will feature the first joint training between Real Alternatives and Skillsafe EU, bringing together expertise on alternative refrigerants and the safe installation of flammable refrigerant technologies.

Η Μονάδα Κατάρτισης και Ανάπτυξης του Πανεπιστημίου Λευκωσίας, σε συνεργασία με το Σωματείο Πιστοποιημένων Μηχανικών Ψυκτικών, σας προσκαλούν σε εκδήλωση με θέμα «Εξελίξεις και Νέες Τεχνολογίες στην Ψύξη, τον Κλιματισμό και τις Αντλίες Θερμότητας», με αφορμή την Παγκόσμια Ημέρα Ψύξης.
Η εκδήλωση θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Παρασκευή 26 Ιουνίου 2026, από τις 16:30 έως τις 19:30, στο Αμφιθέατρο Γεώργιος Παπανικολάου του UNIC Athens.
Η εκδήλωση απευθύνεται σε όλους όσοι επιθυμούν να βρίσκονται στην αιχμή των εξελίξεων του κλάδου και να ενημερωθούν για τις νέες τεχνολογίες, τις καινοτομίες και τις σύγχρονες τάσεις που διαμορφώνουν το μέλλον της ψύξης, του κλιματισμού και των αντλιών θερμότητας.
Οι συμμετέχοντες θα έχουν την ευκαιρία να παρακολουθήσουν:
• Ομιλίες από κορυφαίους εκπροσώπους του κλάδου

Today we are in the Veneto Region delivering training on R290 heat pumps as part of the project, partner of Real Alternatives.

🔧 Participants are gaining practical knowledge and skills on the safe installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of propane (R290) heat pumps.

🌱 Building competence is essential to support the safe and effective transition towards low-GWP refrigerants and a more sustainable HVACR sector.

🇮🇪 REAL Alternatives was in Killybegs, Ireland, from 11–15 May for a new Train the Trainer (TOT) session hosted by ECAC and co-organised with Associazione dei Tecnici del Freddo - ATF.

The week combined practical and theoretical training on alternative refrigerants, with a special focus on ammonia systems, alongside the REAL Alternatives Stakeholder Meeting dedicated to cooperation and implementation of EU Regulation 2024/2215.
