Today was a day of mixed emotions for everyone associated with Edmonton N.S. Killucan. Not only did we say goodbye to our eleven sixth class pupils, we also said a fond farewell to our principal Mr Maguire.
Firstly, we want to wish all our 6th class students the very best as they embark on the next stage of their education journey. Thanks to Emily, Ava, Chloe, Hannah, Ella Rose, Ruby, Caoilfionn, Nathan, Culainn and Dan for being such an integral part of our school community. We hope you all have a great summer and all the best in your secondary schools.
Next we want to wish Mr Maguire all the best in his new role. Although he might only have been a short while with our school, he made a huge and lasting impact in that time. Mr Maguire leaves behind a very positive and happy legacy and he will be missed by all the teachers and pupils.
Finally after the last assembly of the school year and presentations to Mr Maguire there was one last surprise. The Delaney Cup paid the school a very special visit kindly accompanied by Ronan Wallace, Jason Daly and Jamie Gonoud. The pupils got an opportunity to ask the lads plenty of questions, pose for pictures with the Cup and get autographs from the lads. A brilliant occasion that will no doubt live long in the pupils memories.
Wishing everyone a fabulous summer ππ₯°
