It was a lovely morning in school today with a visit from Bishop Martin. Well done to all of the pupils, especially the Student Council and the School Choir.

First Holy Communion Reception ⛪✨

Huge congratulations to the 14 children from 2nd Class on receiving their First Holy Communion on Sunday morning. Such a special day for everyone involved ✨

Huge thanks to the parents of 1st Class who helped with the Reception after Mass in the school hall. Thanks so much to Paula O'Shaughnessy for the beautiful cake 💖 and to for joining us on the day to capture some special moments 📸🩷 To any one who dropped in baked goods or helped in any way, thank you, we really appreciated the support.

Creature Crew visit 🐍

Before Easter we were delighted to welcome in to visit all the classes.

Creature Crew are a small animal and reptile interactive education programme and rescue based in Cavan. It was lovely to see the boys and girls get so involved and asking lots of questions about the little guests they had in school for the day 🐍🐀🦎

Thanks so much to Creature Crew for making it so enjoyable for everyone 😁

A special moment for our Sixth Class pupils today as they were presented with their hoodies from the Parents Association. Róisín, Ruth and Sonia were thrilled to represent the Parents Association this morning.

These hoodies have become a lovely tradition and a small way to mark the end of their primary school journey. The smiles said it all when they received them! (missing from photo is Rian O'Reilly).

We wish our Sixth Class pupils a very enjoyable last few months in Killinkere N.S. as they prepare for their next adventure in secondary school 🌟
