Táimid ag foghlaim faoi Oíche Shamhna sa seomra sinsearach.

We have written down loads of new vocabulary and drawn pictures to remind us what the words mean. Today we did an Éist agus Tarraing activity and wrote a Scéal gairid about our teach tabhsí. We working up to writing independent stories later in the week with all the foclóir we have learned.

This week we kicked off Maths Week here in the school. We were studying Data in the Senior Room and did some fun activities around this box of winegums. The children made predictions first before collecting data and transferring it into bar graphs. We then answered questions on the graphs.
Now our only problem is to figure out what to do with the winegums 😋

🎨 Artist of the Month: Vincent van Gogh! 🌟
​The Junior Room has been busy exploring the incredible works of Vincent van Gogh this month.
​In Art: We used pastels to recreate his famous and beautiful masterpiece, The Starry Night. The results are vibrant and full of imagination!
​In Writing: Our genre this month was report writing, so the children put on their researcher hats to write a fantastic reports all about Van Gogh's life and art.
