Holy Cross Mercy School Killarney Holy Cross Mercy School has been educating the children of Killarney since 1844. We aim at building on strengths, so as to enhance your child’s self-esteem.

We are fortunate to have a dedicated and supportive Board of Management and Parents’ Association in our school. We have a highly committed staff, who give of their best to enable your child to achieve his/her full potential in work, play and spiritual development. Coupled with this, we are also in a position to offer many new and exciting teaching and learning resources in our school. Technology plays a central role, with all classrooms being equipped with the most up-to-date interactive whiteboards and iPads available to facilitate the delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum. The holistic development of your child is central to the Catholic ethos. The religious and spiritual development of all pupils is seen as a high priority. Achievements are celebrated and facilitated not alone in the academic realm but in the broad spectrum of extra-curricular activities that we offer. We greatly appreciate that you have entrusted your children to our care at Holy Cross, it is the greatest privilege that you can ever afford us.

Our Senior Autism Class enjoyed every step of the journey, from sowing seeds in April to harvesting their homegrown vegetables in September! 🌱 The girls cared for their seedlings, watched them grow and turned their harvest into a delicious, nutritious homemade soup. 🥕🥔🧅

We grew it, we cooked it, we loved it! ❤️🍲

Our 5th Class pupils enjoyed a wonderful monoprint workshop with artist Darragh Kinch as part of the Creative Ireland programme. A fantastic opportunity to explore creativity and develop new artistic skills. We are looking forward to welcoming Darragh back for two more inspiring workshops in the coming weeks.
