Life can get so busy that we spend our days looking after everyone and everything thus forgetting to make space for ourselves.

Taking even a little time out can help you slow down and help you reconnect with yourself which allows you to become clearer about what you actually want in life and in love.

One of my favorite ways to create that space is meditation. You don't need an hour. Even a few quiet minutes can make a difference.

3 benefits of meditation:

Reduces stress - giving your mind a chance to slow down and reset.

Improves self-awareness - helping you notice your thoughts, feelings and patterns instead of automatically reacting to them.

Helps emotional regulation -creating a little space between what happens to you and how you respond.

Taking time for yourself isn't wasted time.

Stepping away from all the noise is exactly what you need to hear yourself again.

Be yourself.

It can be tempting when you really like someone to become the version of yourself you think they will like. You agree when you don't agree. You pretend to like things you don't. You make yourself easier, quieter or less demanding.

But here's the problem: If you pretend to be someone else to get someone, you'll have to keep pretending to keep them.

Being yourself in dating has huge advantages: You attract people who genuinely like you. You find out much faster if you're truly compatible. You feel more relaxed and confident on dates. You don't waste months trying to make the wrong person fit.

And yes, being yourself means some people won't choose you. That's not a reason to change who you are. It's about being yourself you so the right person can recognize you.

Your friend just got engaged. Someone else is moving in with their partner. Another person is posting beautiful wedding photos. And you're thinking “Why hasn't it happened for me yet?”

But comparison doesn't help you find love. It just makes you feel like you're falling behind. You're comparing your timeline to somebody else's timeline and life without knowing what's really happening behind the scenes. And being single today doesn't mean you'll be single next year.

Instead of asking, “Why am I behind everyone else?” Ask “What can I do today to move myself closer to the relationship I want?” Focus on your life. Your growth. Your dating. The winners are the people that focus on their own game. You can be a winner.

I love this line because it's a great philosophy for dating and life too. Dating can knock you down. Rejection. Heartbreak. Ghosting. Another date that goes nowhere. Another person who wasn't who you hoped they'd be.

But the people who eventually find love aren't necessarily the people who never get hurt. They're the ones who resurrect.

They don't allow one rejection to become “Nobody will ever want me.” They don't allow one heartbreak to become “I'll never find love.”

Make resurrection your hobby.

Get back up. Learn. Do not stop dating!

Because the next person you meet could be the actual one!

Dating can be frustrating and exhausting especially when you've had disappointing dates or relationships that haven't worked out.

But one thing I always tell my clients is this: don't let your past dating experiences decide how you show up for your future ones.

When you go into dating thinking, “There are no good men left” or “This probably won't work out either,” it changes your energy, your behaviour and even the opportunities you notice.

Being positive doesn't mean ignoring red flags or pretending every date is amazing. It means believing that one disappointing date is just one date—not evidence that love isn't going to happen for you.

Stay open. Stay curious. Keep your standards.

Because you don't need every man to be right for you. You only need one.

Confidence isn't something you build once. You have to protect everyday.
Most people think confidence is created by success. In reality, confidence is more often destroyed by what you allow into your mind, your relationships, and your daily habits.
The highest-performing people in the world such as athletes, military leaders, performers don't just build confidence. They build systems that protect it.
Here are the most important ways to do that.
1. Protect who gets into to your mind
Every person you spend time with is either:
~Building your confidence
~Draining your confidence or
~Leaving it the same.
Research in psychology shows emotions and attitudes are socially contagious. If you're constantly around critical, negative, or cynical people, your confidence gradually erodes.
Ask yourself:
-Who makes me feel stronger?
-Who makes me doubt myself?
-Who constantly points out my weaknesses instead of my growth?
You don't have to cut everyone out, but you do need boundaries.
2. Keep promises to yourself.
This is big one.
Every time you tell yourself:
~"I'll go to the gym."
~"I'll make that phone call."
~"I'll leave that unhealthy relationship."
and then you don't, you teach your brain that I can't trust myself.
Confidence isn't believing you'll succeed. It's believing you'll do what you say you'll do.
3. Protect your self-talk
Your brain listens to you. Imagine if someone followed you around all day saying:
~"You're not good enough."
~"You are not pretty enough”
~"Nobody likes you."
Eventually you'd believe them. Many people become that person to themselves.
Instead ask:
"Would I speak to someone I love this way?" If not don't speak to yourself that way.
4. Become difficult to offend.
Confident people know that someone else's opinion is information. It is not identity.
Criticism may contain useful feedback or it may simply reveal:
~their mood.
~their insecurity.
~their values.
Not every opinion matters.
The people with the strongest confidence don't have fewer fears or fewer failures than everyone else. They have learned to guard their confidence. When those foundations are strong, confidence becomes something that is generated from within.

One of the biggest mistakes I see women make is falling in love with a man's potential instead of paying attention to his actions.
They tell me...
"He's just busy."
"He's been hurt before."
"He says he likes me."
"Maybe he just needs more time."
But here's what I've learned after years of coaching women...
When a man truly wants to build a relationship with you, you won't be left constantly wondering where you stand.
You won't be analyzing every text. You won't be questioning whether he likes you and you sure won't be making excuses for inconsistent behavior.
Life gets busy. People have difficult weeks. Even so men make time for women they like. A man who is serious about you makes it easier not harder to build a relationship.
Stop chasing someone who isn’t chasing you.
If you're constantly trying to work out whether they're all in, they are not.

I believe 80% of success in dating comes from eliminating the wrong people quickly.

It is not a statistic but it's my coaching philosophy after helping tons of people find lasting relationships. But research does support the principle too. Studies consistently show that relationship uncertainty increase stress, anxiety and emotional turmoil. Research has also shown that healthy, satisfying relationships are strongly linked with higher wellbeing, while staying stuck in unhealthy or uncertain relationships takes an emotional toll.

This is the mistake I see...

People spend six months trying to convince someone who has already shown them that they're not all in. They ignore the mixed signals and red flags. They excuse the inconsistency. They hope the other person will change. Meanwhile, they're unavailable for someone who is actually ready to build a relationship with them.

Dating isn't just about finding the right person. It's about getting rid of the wrong person before you've invested months, maybe even years of your life.

The faster you recognize a time-waster, the faster you will find love.

Your future relationship depends just as much on who you walk away from as who you choose to stay with.
