⚽️💚 From Lissivigeen to Kerry FC… and back again! 💚⚽️

A huge thank you to Kerry FC and to Ryan, Ivan and David, who paid us a very special visit today. How lucky were we to welcome THREE of our past pupils back to the school where their football journeys began! 🥰

Our 6th Class pupils loved hearing about life as a professional footballer, asking lots of brilliant questions and picking up some great tips and advice before enjoying a kick-around in the sunshine on the very pitch where they played as children. 🌞⚽️

And the icing on the cake… every 6th Class pupil received a FREE ticket to watch Kerry FC v Bray Wanderers at Mounthawk on Friday, 11th September! 🎟️💚

We are so grateful to Ryan, Ivan and David for their time, kindness and inspiration. It was fantastic to see girls’ and boys’ football thriving in Kerry and to have three of our own past pupils inspiring the next generation! 👏⚽️

🫶 Giving Back & Making a Difference! 🫶

Before our 6th Class pupils finished their time in Lissivigeen in June, they did something truly special. 🌟

Following their Confirmation, they generously and proudly donated €1,100 of their Confirmation money to local charities that are close to their hearts. 🙌

Our pupils took the time to research, discuss and decide where they felt their donation could make a difference. They then had the wonderful opportunity to welcome representatives from each charity, learn more about the incredible work they do and proudly present their cheques. 👏

A very special way to finish their time in Lissivigeen, turning a celebration into an opportunity to give back. 🙌

Rounding off our Weekend Winners for the final term of the school year with another fantastic collection of activities and achievements! 🌟👏

Our Weekend Winners took part in jiu jitsu 🥋, soccer ⚽, football 🏈, horse riding 🐎, horse jumping 🐎, running 🏃, rowing 🚣, pole vault 🏃‍♀️, dancing 💃, golf ⛳, pitch & putt, judo 🥋, cheerleading 📣, set dancing 💃, badminton 🏸, camogie 🏑, gymnastics 🤸, table tennis 🏓, handball 🤾‍♀️, relay 🏃‍♀️, parkrun 🏃, chess ♟️, darts 🎯, art 🎨, handwriting ✍️, piano 🎹, music 🎶, singing 🎤, Order of Malta 🇲🇹 and even skiing ⛷️ What an amazing variety!!! 🙌⭐

A huge well done to all our Weekend Winners for getting involved, trying new activities, developing new skills and sharing their talents throughout the year! 👏🏆
