📚✏️Back to school! ✏️📚
We look forward to welcoming all pupils and staff back to school on Monday 31st August.
We especially look forward to meeting our new Junior Infants, as they begin an exciting new chapter with us.
Early supervision is from 8.30am and school will start at 9am. Enjoy the weekend and we will see everyone on Monday ☺️🚸🌟

Last night we got the sad news that our wonderful Margaret Kelly, our caretaker and cleaner, had gone to her eternal rest. It's hard to put into words the loss we feel at her passing. Margaret was a truly special person .She devoted 25 years sevice to Knockaderry. She took great pride in the school and her work. She loved the children and was always ready to lend a hand. She went above and beyond what the job entailed such was her love of the school. All pupils and staff, past and present will attest to her kindness, love of fun, positivity, caring nature and all round goodness. Ní bheidh a leithéid arís ann.We are heartbroken. May Margaret RIP.

Splash Day 2026! 💦🔫
What a day for our first Splash Day…which will no doubt be an annual thing! The fun and laughter that was had will not be beaten (and that was just the teachers!!) Thanks to all the children for bringing all the fun! Thanks to Maeve & Josh who arrived with ice cream and drinks for everyone to celebrate the holidays! Perfect way to end the school year! Wishing everyone a happy and safe summer break 🎉☀️🥰

Looking forward to this next Monday 🎉

Kerry captain Gavin White and teammates David Clifford and Killian Spillane helped to launch the 22nd annual seven-a-side Garda Gaelic football blitz at Killarney Garda Station on Monday.

The launch was also attended by some of the primary school pupils who will compete at the blitz in Fitzgerald Stadium next Monday alongside, several local Gardaí and sponsors.

Twenty two mixed teams of boys and girls from across east, mid and west Kerry will contest the tournament while a side from Boherbue in Cork will also compete.

A beautiful mass was held in school this morning in celebration of Fr John Ahern, who is a past pupil of Knockaderry, and who was ordained a priest 60 years ago today. We were delighted to celebrate this joyous occasion with him. Thank you to all the children who made the mass so special and to the parents and members of the community who joined us 😊🙏

Thank you so much to the The Warehouse Cafe, in Farranfore, who very kindly dropped in pizzas for the children to enjoy as an end of year treat! It made our School Sports Day even more exciting 🎉😊 Thank you to Kevin & all the wonderful staff ❤️
