Our curriculum focuses on the child's physical, personal, social, emotional wellbeing and cognitive aspect of learning Our curriculum is guided by the principals of Montessori and the National Curriculum Framework of Aistear. We implement this curriculum by including new and different resources in the environment and w plan experiences for children that are directly linked to their interests and d
evelopment. We observe and listen to these interests, documenting the child's development that shows each child as one who is respected and whose welfare and individuality is valued. Staff display this sensitivity through the characteristics of empathy, patients, kindness, responsibility and professionalism. At bebe Creche we value the spirituality and diversity of every child and our work with children in understood as a very special and great job to do. In bebe Creche we believe that a "child without education is like a bird without wings". Our aspirations for all children are for them to recognize that they are unique and that this is respected by everyone. We follow the child so that they become independent and believe in themselves. Our aim is to have the children happy, kind, competent, open to learning and able to express their thinking and their feelings. This aim is shaped by our view of the child: children are beautiful, trusting, honest, curious, imaginative, loving and contain a great capacity for learning.
