A very warm welcome to all our First Year students who began their journey with us today!
Starting secondary school is an exciting new chapter, filled with new friendships, new experiences, new challenges and plenty of wonderful memories to be made along the way.
We wish each and every one of you the very best of luck as you begin your secondary school journey here at St. Brigid’s Presentation Secondary School. We hope the years ahead are happy, rewarding and full of opportunities.

An extra special congratulations to Ruby Courtney, Lily Courtney, Aine Fitzgerald and Fiona McHugh, who each achieved the incredible milestone of over 600 points in their Leaving Certificate!

The girls are pictured with our Principal, Mairead McElligott, who was delighted to share in their celebrations. A fantastic achievement and a wonderful reward for all their hard work, commitment and dedication throughout their time in St. Brigid’s.

While we are delighted to recognise this exceptional achievement, we are equally proud of every member of our Leaving Cert Class of 2026. There were fantastic results across the board, and each student has their own achievements to celebrate.

A huge congratulations to all of our Leaving Cert students on their fantastic results!

It was wonderful to welcome so many of you yesterday and to see so many happy, smiling faces. After all the hard work, dedication and determination over the past number of years, it was fantastic to see it all pay off.

You should all be incredibly proud of what you have achieved. As you now begin the next exciting chapter, we wish each and every one of you every happiness and success for the future.

🌹 Best of Luck to Kerry Rose Caoimhe Lynch!🌹

Everyone here at St. Brigid’s would like to wish our wonderful past pupil and current Kerry Rose, Caoimhe Lynch, the very best of luck as she represents Kerry at the Rose of Tralee! 💚💛🌹

We are incredibly proud to see Caoimhe representing her county with such warmth, confidence and kindness. She has been a fantastic ambassador for Kerry, and it is particularly special for us to see how she continues to embody the CEIST values that are at the heart of our school – showing respect, compassion, kindness and a wonderful sense of community wherever she goes.

We couldn’t resist looking back through the archives and sharing a few photos of Caoimhe during her days here in St. Brigid’s alongside a more recent one as Kerry Rose… and we think you’ll agree, she hasn’t changed a bit! 😊🌹

Congratulations to the U18 Kerry Ladies who were crowned All Ireland "B" Champions yesterday with a score of 1-12 to Tyrones 1-10. A special mention to our super stars who were on the panel Kelsey Cummins, Tara O'Sullivan, Faye Lynch, Annie Brosnan, Anne & Lily O'Shaughnessy, and Ciara O'Sullivan.
