Irish Taekwondo Academy end of summer Grading.
Grading took place on Thursday evening with students from our Killaloe and Nenagh classes taking to the floor and demonstrating their hard work and dedication over the summer months.
Well done to all students who tested.
Places are now available in our Killaloe and Nenagh classes for new students to attend.

Taekwondo Classes in Killaloe.

Kids from age 4 can join our junior class and youths/adults in our senior class.

Poomsae and Kyorugi training at Song Moo Kwan Ireland Headquarters in Thurles Co Tipperary, August 2nd 2026.

Sunday June 14th two Irish Taekwondo Academy students successfully passed Black Belt Testing in Thurles Co Tipperary.
Paul Lawless testing for 2nd Dan Black Belt and Roìsìn Slattery testing for 1st Poom black belt.
Both students have put in lot's of effort over the past number of years to get to this point in their Taekwondo journey.
Thank you to Grandmaster Guy Jones Song Moo Kwan European President & Song Moo Kwan Irish President Master Kevin Cole.

Some of our students who took part in the Song Moo Kwan Irish Open last weekend were in class today with their winning medal's and our 1st overall in Poomsae and 3rd overall in Kyorugi trophies. Well done to everyone.

What a fantastic atmosphere today at the Song Moo Kwan Irish Open in Templemore, Co Tipperary.
A massive thank you to everyone who helped make this event so memorable and bringing clubs together from all over Ireland and Europe.
Thank you to Critical Emergency Medical Response for providing First Aid for the event and Our Lady's Secondary school for letting us host the competition at their venue.

Irish Taekwondo Academy students done our club proud and brought home the Poomsae overall 1st Place trophy, and Kyorugi 3rd place overall trophy.
