🏆 What an absolute privilege it was to welcome the Sam Maguire Cup to our school today! ❤️💚

We were incredibly honoured to host Jack Coyne, Mayo’s All-Ireland captain, alongside the hugely talented Liam Golden of the Mayo team.

What a truly special and historic day for our school. The excitement on the children’s faces, the questions, the photographs and the opportunity to celebrate our Mayo heroes together is something we will never forget.

A day that will live long in the memory! 🏆❤️💚

Please use your recyclable blue token to vote for us in the Tesco Community Fund at Tesco in Ballina. Proceeds will go towards establishing a more suitable sensory room in our school. (When we applied for this initiative last year we had 5 children in our Autism Class, we now have 6).
Thank you all for your continued support 🙌

🏆 A massive congratulations to all of the children from each class who earned a certificate and prize today! 🎉

We have been watching the children work so hard to follow our school rules and show kindness, respect and responsibility each day. We are so proud of their efforts! ⭐️

We know that so many more children deserve to be recognised too, and they will have another opportunity to earn a certificate and prize next month. 🥰

Each month, we will come together for a short assembly to celebrate the hard work, effort and positive choices our children are making.

Well done everyone — keep up the fantastic work! 👏🌟

Last night, we gathered to celebrate two incredible educators as we marked the retirements of our wonderful Principal, Mrs Reilly, and our much-loved teacher, Mrs Darby.

Following a beautiful retirement Mass, we came together back at the school where guest speakers reflected on the remarkable impact both ladies have had throughout their years of dedicated service to Killala National School. Their commitment, kindness, and passion for education have touched the lives of countless children, families, and colleagues, leaving a legacy that will be remembered for many years to come.

From everyone at St Joseph's, we would like to sincerely thank Mrs Reilly and Mrs Darby for everything they have given to our school community. We wish them both every happiness, good health, and many wonderful adventures as they begin this exciting new chapter.

Happy retirement! 💐❤️
