The Interschools Showjumping team were jumping in Thurles over the weekend. Well done to Aoife Garry, Ruby Haugh and Sophie Hanrahan who jumped great in the team competition and congratulations to Ruby Haugh who placed 4th in the individual competition! U16 Girls Basketball team are Munster champions after defeating Colaiste Eamann Rís in Neptune Stadium in Cork yesterday. Well done to all the girls and to coaches Ms Quilter, Ms Moroney and Claire Cuddihy 👏

Our TYs organised and participated in a skills competition today as part of the GAA Future Leaders programme. Patrycja, Odhran, Naoise and Lauren emerged as winners in a tight contest. Well done to all for participating 🏆

Well done to our u14.5 girls team who had a comprehensive win against Coláiste Choilm today in Round 3 of the Munster Championship in Charleville.

This win puts the girls through to a Munster B semi final.

🏃 Lees Road Cross Country 🏃‍♀️

Well done to all our athletes for their great running in the Clare Cross Country yesterday in Lees Road.
We had athletes representing the school in all races, and all athletes did the school very proud.

🥈Our minor boys team of Conor Neenan, Aidan McNamara, Nicky Connelly and Harry Plaistow, secured silver medals with Aidan receiving an individual 6th medal.

🥈Our junior girls team of Rowen Cahill, Chloe Talty, Rachel Hanrahan, Kayla Kennedy, Aoife Garry and Cora Grogan secured silver medals, with Cora receiving an individual 5th medal.

🥈 Aoibhinn Donnelly stormed her way to an individual silver medal in the Intermediate girls race.

Our athletes now look forward to the North Munster Cross Country which will take place in Pallaskenry at the end of the month.

Munster Semi-Final ✅

Well done to our Junior Girls footballers who qualified for the Munster Final yesterday following a good victory over Hazelwood College of Limerick. Pictured are our joint captains Emma Kelly and Naoise Talty.

This is our first time qualifying for the Junior Munster C final, where a place in the All-Ireland Semi Final is up for grabs.

Commiserations to the U19 girls basketball team that lost to Thomond College in Munster semi final on Tuesday. Well done on all your effort this year. 👏

Earlier in the year, a group of 5th&6th year Gaisce (the President’s award) participants set off from the school to do their final Gaisce task, a 35km walk over two days.
On the 12th of September the group left the school with Ms Convey and Ms Moroney and started their walk around the locality. Following the walk they prepared their dinner and spent the night in the school. Thanks to Ms Convey and Ms Moroney for running the programme and accompanying the students on the walk.
